Phillipson Master Pre-3M Fiberglass Fly Rod 9’1” w/ Original Tube – Denver Era, Near Mint

Original Phillipson Master series fiberglass fly rod from the highly collectible Denver, Colorado era under Bill Phillipson. This 9’1” (109”) 2-piece rod features the correct early brown glass blank, script Phillipson signature, and oval “Master” stamp, placing it in the premium lineup above Eponite models of the period.

Rod is in near mint condition with original wraps, guides, anodized green/red aluminum reel seat, and excellent cork showing only light use. Blank is clean, glossy, and appears fully original with no repairs or refinishing.

Includes original factory tube with vintage “World’s Finest” marking (lid missing). No sock present, which is common for long rods of this era.

A classic full-flex early fiberglass rod designed for big water trout and Western rivers. Highly desirable among vintage glass collectors and anglers.
